Drums - Vocals Benny Puckett has been Big Engine's drummer since 1994 with the exception of a three and a half year hiatus beginning in the summer of 2000. He has appeared on 7 of the band's CDs including their Live CD/DVD making Benny's solid, high energy playing style an elemental part of the band's sound. His antics behind the drum kit and interplay with band mates really enhance the band's live shows as well. |

Nonetheless, there is truth to that statement. All the while he keeps it steady, he whirls his sticks, tosses them into the air catching them, balancing them, in a constant juggling act. His smile can light up a room, I don't recall one minute of the night that he did not have a smile on his face. He is a very well versed drummer, and he can sing too. Benny is comparable to Bun E.
